Growing up, Kevin was always drawing — and he always knew the town tattoo artist, Temple Drake. That relationship, forged when Kevin was just five years old, eventually led to a formal apprenticeship and a career that began on January 18, 1992. Over 34 years later, he's still at it — and still loves every minute.

Kevin specializes in Neo-Traditional, Bio-Organica (his signature Organic Mech style), and surreal nature-based imagery. His technique is heavily influenced by Alphonse Mucha and the Art Nouveau movement — fluid, organic, and unmistakably his own.

AK Tattoo is not your average shop. Walk in and you'll find original paintings, sculptures, and one-of-a-kind custom tattoo designs covering the walls. This is an artist's studio — not a cookie-cutter skull-and-fern operation.

Kevin's clients have included Nikki Sixx of Mötley Crüe and Mike Herrera, lead singer of MxPx.
